The Cottage
Set in a dell for privacy’s sake, the Cottage nevertheless affords spectacular views toward Montauk and the inimitable Block Island sunsets.
The master bedroom (queen size bed), kitchen/living- room and full bathroom are
in the main building
(on the right, below).
A back bedroom door leads to the outdoor shower.
Twenty feet across the sheltered deck is the guestroom, with twin beds.
Fully equipped with apartment size refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave, the
compact kitchen also includes both electric coffee and espresso makers, as well
as other small appliances. In the
audio-visual department are a TV, VCR, AM/FM tuner, CD player and cassette deck.
And for those who just can’t let go, we’ve provided a fax machine.
There’s a sleep sofa in the living room (we do charge for more than four), and
the deck is amply stocked with sturdy garden furniture and charcoal grill.
Somewhat more formal than the Big House, the cottage is also less roomy. While it’s ideal for one or two couples, it might prove confining for younger children during bouts of inclement weather.
